STEAM

STEAM#

Models from the evolutionary transfer learning study (Qiu, Daza et al., 2026), which predict cell-class-specific chromatin accessibility across the developing mouse embryo. STEAM (Synteny-aware Transfer learning for Enhancer Activity Modeling) augments mouse training data with synteny-anchored enhancer orthologs from up to 241 mammalian genomes. Three models are provided: the final STEAM_v1 model and the two precursor models (evolution_naive, evolution_aware) that illustrate the progression of the approach.
